About:

Jooniebeads Treasures features handmade jewelry created by Amy Thornton. The shop is an ecelectic mix of the many experiences and opportunities that have influenced Amy and her family over the past 20 years of being an Army family. There is a very natural rustic look inspired by all of the amazing glimpses of the natural beauty the world has offered to show. There are sparkly, bright, shiny crystals inspired by the hot Texas sun, the intense happiness of returning home after deployment and the times her daughter had bright pink hair. There is also the beachy influence brought about by all the wonderful family vacations at this countries most beautiful beaches. There is something for everyone in this shop, a look for every aesthetic.

Thoughts from Carli:

As many of you know who’ve read my blog, I do a little jewelry making. Only a little though. As much as I love it there are two things that I can’t figure out 1) how to get my loops to be perfect and even throughout a piece and 2) how to do this affordably.

So I stumbled upon Jooniebeads Treasures and through a series of discussions had the opportunity to review a piece of jewelry. After looking through everything I selected a glass bead necklace in blues and browns. Amy sent this out so quick and when I opened the package in it was a little box with a pretty little flower on top.

I was so excited about the necklace I wore it right away. Then I wore it to work on Tuesday (first day back at work). This is definitely a piece in my regular rotation. The beads are so beautiful with some silver flowers interspersed within. The craftsmanship is excellent! I always appreciate jewelry that is handmade and has better quality than machine made jewelry.

Everything over at Jooniebeads Treasures is just beautiful and Amy gets out pieces pretty regularly. I’ve also noticed that they move just as quickly. Once you get a piece of Amy’s jewelry you’ll want more!

  1. I accidently put my Facebook share in the tweet box instead of the Word Out! I hope when I did that it did not delete my tweet link? Do you have any idea?
